Scott Ethridge
Lead Guitar / Vocals
Scott Ethridge, born April 20, 1998, grew up predominantly listening to Classic and Progressive Rock and Classic Heavy Metal; influenced by the music listened to by his Dad. On his Tenth birthday, he got his first guitar. Immediately it became the main focus of his day-to-day, with him spending 12 hours a day playing and practicing. By High School, he had become heavily influenced by Blues and Funk music which quickly became a cornerstone of his playing style. In 2018, He joined the Blues Rock band, Beyond Blu, which he would be a part of for 3 years. In 2021, he would make a transition towards Country Music, influenced by the playing styles of Jerry Reed, Daniel Donato, and Charlie Daniels, and join the Zach Jennigns Band for a 2-year stint.
In 2021, he met James Elliott and the two became fast friends. By the end of 2022, looking for something new and already being a fan of Yellow Banks, he was offered a spot as lead guitarist for Yellow Banks. Finally, in a band that speaks to his musical tastes and performing style, Scott blends the chicken pickin’ twang of classic country with the soaring flash and virtuosity of classic and progressive rock. All the while having fun and living for the moments on stage with his bandmates.
